FMP | Characteristics of the Proposal

Each applicant will establish, together with her/his Head of Unit, an activity plan, detailing the activities to be undertaken during the mobility experience. In this way researchers will be encouraged to play an active role in shaping their own training activities and professional development.

The activity plan should also contain a clear statement of how the trans-national mobility will impact the professional growth of the applicant as well as how institutional networking will be enhanced.

Proposals should be written so as to allow the evaluation of the following elements:

1. Profile of the applicant;
2. Activity plan;
3. Professional growth;
4. Contribution to the achievement of FBK Unit and Center’s strategic ambitions;
5. Already established and/or future networking.

The Activity Plan will include the applicant’s training and career goals as well as the scientific objectives. It will later on report upon the success with which these objectives were achieved. The Activity Plan will act as a reference for the experienced researcher to monitor her/his progress and take corrective action when necessary in order to achieve the aims.

The candidates are also expected to submit a letter of support written by the Head of the Research Unit. In this letter should be mentioned the importance of the mobility experience for the Unit, Center and/or the Foundation.
