Total funding for the FBK Mobility Programme amounts to € 100.000.

 

For the whole stay abroad FBK will continue to pay to the selected researchers their contractual wages. They will also receive both a living and a travel allowance as a contribution to their mobility expenses.The amount of these allowances will be defined according to the following criteria: 

 

1. Mobility allowance: it covers expenses related to the mobility experience (relocation, family expenses, language courses) and will be determined depending on the family situation of the researcher at the time of the submission deadline:

• researcher without family obligations: € 850/month; 
• researcher with family obligations: € 1.100/month.

In this context family is defined as people linked to the researcher by marriage, or dependent children who are currently being maintained by the researcher as well as domestic partner (a person cohabiting, eg. common-law wife or husband). The allowance will also be granted in case that the family does not move with the researcher.

A country correction will be applied to the mobility allowance.

2. Travel allowance: it covers travel expenses (including insurance but not visa fees) and will be determined as follows:

• researcher travelling within Europe: € 750;
• researcher travelling outside Europe: € 1.200.

 Additional expenses will be taken into account by the FBK Mobility Committee.
